I need you to stop supporting the current Israeli government with military aid and diplomatic cover. This week alone, Israeli settlers killed at least three Palestinians in attacks across the occupied West Bank. In Khirbet Abu Falah, settlers shot Fare Jawdat Hamayel, 57, and Thaer Farouq Hamayel, 24, in the head. A third man, Muhammad Hassan Murrah, 55, died from tear gas fired by Israeli soldiers who accompanied the attackers.
These aren't isolated incidents. Since the assault on Iran began last week, settlers have killed at least eight Palestinians, exploiting the regional conflict to escalate violence. More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli soldiers or settlers since October 2023. American weapons and billions in aid are enabling this.
The Israeli military admits it was "looking into" the attacks only after Palestinians were already dead. That's not accountability. I want you to condition all military aid on an immediate end to settler violence and hold this government responsible for the killings happening under its watch. Our tax dollars should not fund this.
