Uphold Constitutional Principles - Protect Judicial Oversight of Executive

As a senator, you took an oath to support and defend the constitution. The American people have made it abundantly clear - they want the rule of law upheld and the system of checks and balances preserved. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act contains a provision that significantly undermines the authority of federal courts to enforce orders and injunctions against the executive branch. This is a blatant attempt to insulate the administration from judicial oversight, a fundamental check on executive power enshrined in our constitution. Polls show overwhelming bipartisan opposition to allowing the president to defy court rulings, with nearly 80% of Americans believing the president must obey federal court orders. Even among Republicans, only 14% believe the administration can ignore Supreme Court rulings it disagrees with. The American people understand that no one, not even the president, is above the law. Approving legislation that defies constitutional principles and undermines the judiciary would violate that oath. I urge you to stand firm in defense of our nation's democratic values and remove this unconstitutional provision from the bill. The American people demand nothing less than our unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and safeguarding our system of government. Failure to do so would be a dereliction of your sworn duty.
