Stand Firm with the G7 – No Room for Appeasement

I am deeply concerned by any efforts to weaken the G7’s ability to call out Russia’s aggression for what it is. The world is watching, and the United States must stand firmly with its allies, not waver in the face of influence from those who do not represent the will of the people. No one elected Vladimir Putin or Elon Musk to shape U.S. foreign policy. Allowing their interests to dictate how we engage with our closest allies undermines our leadership and credibility on the world stage. The G7 must move forward with full and unequivocal U.S. support—without interference or concessions that embolden authoritarianism. I urge you to walk this back immediately and ensure that the G7 can proceed with clarity and strength. History will remember who stood for democracy and who faltered. Please do the right thing.
