Vote Against the $200 Billion Iran War Funding Request

28 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

Vote no on the Pentagon's $200 billion funding request for strikes against Iran. This money belongs with Americans, not in more bombs. Secretary of State Marco Rubio just told Iran to spend money on its citizens instead of weapons. He's right about the principle, wrong about the target. We should take that advice ourselves. $200 billion could transform healthcare access, rebuild crumbling infrastructure, or cut taxes for working families. Instead, we're pouring it into a war that most Americans oppose, according to recent CBS polling. The irony is staggering. We lecture other countries about priorities while requesting another $200 billion for military strikes. Meanwhile, families here struggle with costs that a fraction of that funding could address. This isn't about national security anymore. It's about whether we value the lives and wellbeing of Americans more than endless conflict. Vote no. Bring that money home.
