I’m writing to express my strong support for adopting Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) in our state — and to urge you to champion this essential reform.
RCV gives voters more voice and real choice, making our elections more fair, inclusive, and representative. It reduces negative campaigning, eliminates costly runoffs, and ensures that winners have genuine majority support. It’s a pro-voter, pro-democracy solution that’s already working in places like Maine, Alaska, and New York City — where it's boosted turnout and led to more respectful, issue-focused campaigns.
At a time when trust in our political system is low, RCV is a concrete step we can take to build a healthier, more functional democracy.
