Impose an arms embargo on Israel for murdering a US civilian

The recent murder of American-Turkish activist Aysenur Ezgi by Israel forces in the occupied West Bank is an outrageous and criminal act that demands strong condemnation and decisive action. As a US citizen, Ezgi's life should have been protected, yet she was brazenly gunned down while peacefully protesting illegal settlements. Israel's pattern of indiscriminate violence against civilians and human rights defenders cannot be tolerated any longer. An independent, impartial investigation must be immediately launched to ensure full accountability and justice for this heinous crime. Moreover, it is evident that Israel's military occupation and relentless expansion of illegal settlements are the root causes fueling such atrocities. By continuing to provide Israel with military aid and arms, the United States is complicit in enabling further oppression of the Palestinian people and the loss of innocent lives like Ezgi's. Therefore, an immediate comprehensive arms embargo on Israel is imperative until it ends its occupation, dismantles settlements, and respects international law as well as human rights. This latest killing underscores the moral and legal obligation to cease arming and abetting Israel's violence.
