Reverse Indigenous history revisionism in school curricula

The reclassification of Colonization and the Wampanoag Story, a factual account of Indigenous history, from non-fiction to fiction represents revisionist history erasing documented realities. Historical accuracy and respect for all cultures must be prioritized over partisan biases in our public institutions. This ideologically-driven decision marginalizes Indigenous voices and enables the spread of historical inaccuracies. Such revisionism is occurring across the country, undermining truth and promoting partisan propaganda over factual understanding in public institutions. Reversing this reclassification is crucial to upholding intellectual freedom and respecting all cultures. This cannot be allowed to continue.
