Swift Action In Ukraine

I'm calling on Congress to take urgent action to address the unfolding situations in Ukraine. It's clear that Putin intends to invade and control Ukraine and likely more former Soviet republics. Congress must move swiftly with proposed emergency funding to support refugee aid and military assistance. Most importantly, Congress must strengthen targeted sanctions against the Russian government and the oligarchs who support his regime. There is no time to equivocate. That has passed. It is time to act quickly and decisively—and to encourage other world powers to do the same. We must stand up to the bullies of democracy, regardless of where they are.
