Stop Using Taxpayer Dollars for Political Rallies on July 4th!

I am demanding to know why taxpayer dollars are being spent on a July 4 event that appears to be little more than a political rally celebrating Donald Trump. Independence Day is supposed to honor our nation, our Constitution, our freedoms, and the sacrifices made by generations of Americans. It’s a celebration for ALL Americans. It is not supposed to be used as a taxpayer-funded tribute to any one politician. Families across this country are struggling. Americans are paying too much for groceries, gas, housing, and medical care. Millions are living paycheck to paycheck and wondering how they will afford their next prescription or utility bill. Yet somehow there is money available for a lavish political spectacle? It’s insulting to every American. This is outrageous. Congress constantly tells Americans that there is not enough money to help working families, protect Social Security, strengthen Medicare, improve schools, repair infrastructure, or conserve our public lands. If that is true, then why are public funds being spent on what many Americans see as a campaign-style event designed to glorify one individual? Taxpayer money should serve the American people—not the ego of any politician. I urge you to immediately investigate all federal spending associated with this event, publicly disclose the full cost to taxpayers, and put a stop to any misuse of public resources. Americans deserve transparency, accountability, and respect for their hard-earned tax dollars. July 4 belongs to the American people. It belongs to our country. It does not belong to Donald Trump. Stop this wasteful spending now.
