An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Impose an arms embargo on Israel for murdering journalists

94 so far! Help us get to 100 signers!

The targeted killing of journalists Hossam Shabat and Mohammed Mansour by Israeli airstrikes is a grave violation of press freedom and human rights. The systematic targeting of media personnel must not be tolerated, as it deprives the world of vital eyewitness accounts and silences voices documenting the harsh realities on the ground. With over 200 journalists murdered by Israel in Gaza alone, this disturbing pattern demands immediate action. An arms embargo on Israel is imperative to prevent further loss of civilian lives, including members of the press carrying out their professional duties. Israel's genocide which have killed over 50,000 civilians amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity according to the International Criminal Court. Continuing to supply arms to Israel enables the perpetuation of these atrocities at the expense of American taxpayers and undermines efforts towards a just and lasting peace. An arms embargo should be imposed on Israel to stop these warcrimes. www.palestinechronicle.com/gaza-journalists-hossam-shabat-mohammed-mansour-killed-in-israeli-airstrikes/
