This drastic and retaliatory measure strongly suggests an intentional effort to suppress information, shield powerful actors, and obstruct accountability. Silencing lawmakers who advocate for survivors of abuse is an intolerable breach of public trust. The legislature cannot permit the weaponization of committee assignments to bury potential corporate or institutional complicity in Epstein’s crimes. You must act to safeguard transparency and the rule of law. I urge you to support a floor vote to form a select committee investigating Interlochen, and to launch an immediate oversight inquiry into whether Speaker Hall's actions constitute a deliberate cover-up.
