Texas, trying to disenfranchise women. FIE!

Now you’re working on passing the state version of the Save Act. Don’t you realize this penalizes married women!? Are you trying to disenfranchise women?! Because that sure as hell is what it looks like! This is really getting old. Having to just fight for our right to vote. Seriously?! There are too many bigger issues that need to be looked at…What are you gonna do to take up the slack for Medicaid when they slash it? You’re gonna have nursing home residence just booted out on the streets? You going to just say so sorry no more treatment for long-term health issues like dialysis, cancer, diabetes, and you’re just gonna have to go home and die? What about the children? And the food issue?! That is going to be a tremendous problem. They’ve going to cut out school lunches and breakfast. No federal funding for those. SNAP?! What are you gonna do to pick up the slack on these?! There are bigger fish to fry than this trying to disenfranchise the women! And it pisses me off that I have to address this when they are so many more draconian dire proposals that we have to fight! This law would create a barrier to voting for millions of citizens! You need to rethink this!
