An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Bribery is an impeachable offence. Investigate & impeach Trump for it.

Bribery is forbidden in the Constitution. Along with treason, it is one of the only two explicitly named impeachable offences. The fact that Founders included not one but two, TWO, emoluments clauses, shows the gravity of their concern about it. Yes, it is undeniable that the Constitution-- the same one you swore to support and defend-- clearly band bribery. There is no ambiguity. No gray area. Bribery is forbidden. Why is Congress doing nothing about the President's bribery schemes. How has it come about that America took one of the basic principles of the presidency — the occupant shouldn't be able use the office for personal advantage and personal gain -- and ignores it. Please do oversight now on Trump's meme coin, Quatari project, DC dining club and other ventures. Please investigate the way Elon Musk's businesses will benefit directly from the various gargantuan items in the proposed new expanded defense bill. Bribery is an impeachable offense. Do your job, uphold your oath. It's past time for oversight and impeachment on account of bribery.
