An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Abolish ICE and Accountability Now

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I call on you to support the abolition and defunding of ICE. The recent murdered of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, as well as the immigrants being murdered in detention centers, demonstrate that this agency operates with impunity and without adequate oversight, costing lives and eroding trust in public safety. The murderers must be prosecuted. The public deserves to know who these masked goons are that are terroristic our country. I also urge you to pursue impeachment proceedings against DHS Secretary Kristi Noem for her leadership role in defending these killings without accountability, and against former Attorney General Pam Bondi for her recent conduct, which is political coercion rather than justice-centered leadership in blackmailing Governor Walz by demanding he hand over voter rolls in order to have ICE called off. Our democracy cannot and we the people will not tolerate federal agents murdering civilians, nor political threats that undermine state authority. Please act boldly to ensure justice for Renée Good, Alex Pretti, and all Americans and immigrants alike.
