Oppose President Trump’s hateful order against trans children

President Trump’s order to end gender affirming care for minors, including puberty blockers, is cruel and must be stopped. Puberty blockers are already used in cis children and have been for many years. They’ve been studied and found to be safe and reversible, and they allow children time to more fully understand their identity and their options. This order is nothing more than a way to traumatize trans children and drive as many of them as possible to suicide, while making the rest of them easier to identify and target with violence. It is an infringement on autonomy, and it has no place in any country that claims freedom as a core value. This executive order is motivated by hate, and I believe we can agree that hatred for children is no foundation upon which to govern. Oppose this executive order.
