An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Reject healthcare cuts to pay for tax breaks for the rich

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

It’s unconscionable that the Senate Finance Committee has released a budget bill that would result in 16 million people losing their healthcare coverage, would shift costs to states, and force hundreds of rural hospitals to close -- all to pay for tax cuts for the rich, which still add $3.4 trillion to the national debt. That’s not fiscal responsibility. That’s robbing from working families to further enrich millionaires, billionaires, and large profitable corporations. When this bill comes up for a vote, I urge you and your colleagues to vote NO and instead pass a budget that invests in working people.
