Things are bad and you're not doing Americans any favors. Do your job.

Look around. Today in America, we have an economy with grotesque levels of income and wealth inequality, where the top 1% own more wealth than the bottom 93%, and 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck struggling to afford the basic necessities of life. At the same time, Oligarchs are increasing their power by buying up media and making huge campaign contributions. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics are being pushed by the wealthiest people in the world. Left unchecked, these technologies have the potential to be devastating to working families, our democracy, our mental well-being and even to the survival of the human race. We are the only major country on earth not to guarantee health care to all people, our kids are graduating college with unsustainable levels of debt, the president has initiated a horrific and unconstitutional war in Iran, threatening war crimes on social media, and there is the small matter of the existential threat of climate change that may leave our planet uninhabitable for future generations. It is not a great situation, to say the least. In many ways the future of our country and the entire world is hanging in the balance – and the actions that we take now will determine what that future looks like. We need people in office willing to stand for our Constitution and against the corrupt felon in trampling it. Be that person or resign.
