Urgent: Remove Elon Musk from Government to Protect Democracy

I am writing to express deep concern over Elon Musk’s role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and the risks his leadership poses to democracy, public welfare, and ethical governance. His track record of financial misconduct, conflicts of interest, and disregard for vulnerable populations make him unfit for any government position. Musk has attacked social services, calling Social Security “the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time” and labeling recipients of government assistance the “Parasite Class.” His policies at DOGE have already frozen humanitarian aid and pushed for the repeal of critical federal regulations, harming working-class Americans while benefiting corporate elites. His conflicts of interest are alarming. As head of DOGE, Musk now oversees regulations that impact his own businesses, including Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter). He is also under scrutiny for allegedly using his government position to pressure advertisers to return to X, prompting calls for a DOJ investigation. Musk has a history of financial misconduct. He was fined $20 million by the SEC for misleading investors, and Tesla is currently under federal investigation for fraud related to its Autopilot technology. His government role allows him to weaken oversight and evade accountability. Even more troubling are his ties to eugenicist ideologies and elite rule. He has promoted pro-natalist movements that prioritize “intelligent” people reproducing, echoing dangerous historical arguments about selective breeding. His father, Errol Musk, has openly defended such views, saying, “I wouldn’t call it eugenics as such, but every nation has practiced a certain form of survival of the fittest.” Meanwhile, Musk has attacked DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs, stating “DEI must DIE.” Musk is not interested in protecting democracy or individual freedoms. His goal is to consolidate power for billionaires, weaken public institutions, and reshape government to serve corporate elites. I urge you to take immediate action to remove Elon Musk from his role in government and launch a full congressional investigation into his conflicts of interest, regulatory overreach, and misuse of government resources.
