Stop Worrying About Other Democracies and Worry About Ours!

I know the White House is hosting a virtual Summit for Democracy right now that is focussing on challenges and opportunities facing other democracies. But meanwhile here at home our democracy is hanging by a thread. The President and the Senate Democrats need to turn all of their attention to reforming the filibuster and passing the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act now. Before the new year. There is no time to wait, and the real, existential threat to our democracy posed by the Republican Party can’t be overstated. Thanks.
