Congress Does Not Serve President, it Serves Citizens- SNAP and ACA Must Stay

Congress must release the SNAP benefits now, as per the orders of a federal judge. Negotiate with the Democrats, put the ACA credits back on the table, and reopen the government. The people of the US overwhelmingly want all of these things, and while I know the President does not want any of them, it's time you remember that you are not there to serve the President, you are there to serve us, and to protect us from the President if needed. As a member of the voting public, I am tired of Congress facilitating anything and everything Trump wants, regardless of constitutionality or moral wrongness. Feed the hungry and heal the sick- do your job and get the government back open.
