I am your constituent and I want you to know that 60% of no-senior Americans get their health insurance through employment.
Now we find that the amount that workers pay toward their own health insurance coverage, has just risen an average of 9% to $7,471 annually for a family, according to a broad annual survey released Oct. 22 by the Kaiser Family Foundation. That’s up from the 7.6% jump seen from 2024 to 2025. Moreover, employers, are also faced with additional costs. The average family coverage premium has increased 5% to hit $28,303, according to the survey.
If we had Universal Healthcare, a public insurance trust paying private providers, almost all Americans would save $1500 every year in premiums, copays and deductibles. The site passmedicareforall.org has a calculator to show how much each of us will save with Universal Healthcare.
Remember that Yale study released this year also showed our country would spend $1 trillion less every year and save 114,000 lives every year.
We save a fortune, we save lives. PASS HR 3069 The Medicare For All (of us) ACT.
