Ensuring Confidence in our U.S. Elections: Potential Voting System Risks

I am writing to express my concern about a claim that has recently gained attention regarding potential vulnerabilities in the Dominion Election Management Systems (EMS). Specifically, a report states that a hardcoded backdoor password, “dvscorp08!”, exists in all Dominion EMS systems and cannot be changed without a major update. If true, this poses a significant election security risk and could undermine public trust in our electoral process. As a concerned citizen who values the integrity of our elections, I urge you to advocate for a full, transparent hand recount of all votes in our jurisdiction to ensure accuracy and public confidence. This recount would not only verify the results but also serve as a strong demonstration of our commitment to electoral security and accountability. Additionally, I request that steps be taken to investigate and address this alleged vulnerability in the Dominion EMS software. Election systems must be robust, secure, and free from potential exploits, especially in an era where misinformation and skepticism around election results can erode faith in democracy. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope you will prioritize election security and take swift action to address these concerns. I look forward to your response and any updates on this critical issue.
