Congress needs to stop Trump’s illegal war now!

I am writing to demand immediate action in response to President Trump’s unauthorized military strikes on Iran. Congress holds the power to declare war, not the president. Yet the administration has launched the US into armed conflict without congressional authorization, putting our servicemembers, American civilians, and Iranian civilians in danger. The American people do not want another endless war in the Middle East. We have seen the human, moral, and financial costs of unilateral regime-change wars. We cannot allow history to repeat itself. You have both the authority and the obligation to act. I urge you to: —Publicly speak out against and call for an immediate end to this war. —Continuously expedite, support, and advance War Powers Resolutions to require congressional approval for continued hostilities. —Oppose ANY and ALL funding, including voting against any supplemental funding package for this war. —Demand full transparency and accountability from the administration. Will you uphold your constitutional duty and use every lever available to rein in this administration and prevent further escalation?
