Today I take pen in hand to write and urge you to find ways to repurpose the trillions of dollars locked up in fossil fuel subsidies.
It’s very clear that these companies can’t maintain price controls or supply with them, so what is their purpose.
We must lead, and make ideas of what we can do with 7-trillion dollars circulate in the people’s minds, and it will translate to support for policies that shift the money to much more deserving programs. Health care, education, roads, electrification, more and quicker deployment of renewable energy and more.
My wishes are for a cleaner future. It can be done. We need our elected leaders to implement the majority of things people want. Let’s get going. Advancing solutions gives people hope and direction. Thank you for your service.
