It’s time to impeach and remove Pete Hegseth and President Trump.
According to several news sources, including the Washington Post, Trump’s orders to destroy suspected drug trafficking ships near Venezuela are tantamount to war crimes. In the most recent attack, Hegseth ordered the destruction of a ship. After the smoke cleared, two survivors clung to the wreckage, and Hegseth ordered them killed. This is murder!
The rules of engagement dictate that prisoners should be captured and interrogated, not murdered after they were left defenseless. When incidents like this happened during WWII, they were labeled as war crimes. For example, a German vessel fired upon soldiers floating in the sea after the Greek ship Peleus was sunk. The officers were tried and convicted! (See the article on the US Naval Institute webpage.) How long will Congress remain silent when the current administration is committing war crimes and murder?
Now the president is telling service members he is preparing for strikes on land “very soon,” according to CNN. That’s an invasion of a foreign nation! He is bringing us to war, and Congress needs to put an immediate stop to it!
Impeach Trump and Hegseth for war crimes before it’s too late.
