Artificial Intelligence Regulation

With any new technology, and certainly something as extensive and complex as artificial intelligence (AI), we need to move cautiously as a nation to consider both possibilities and liabilities.  In the Trump budget bill, there is a provision that prohibits states and localities from any AI regulations for 10 years. As you consider the budget bill in the Senate, please act to remove this language, because, at this point, there is no crystal ball telling us how this technology will evolve in the future.  We need to have the ability to regulate, if needed, for the welfare of humanity.
