Stop sending Bibi bombs! Use your leverage to force all parties to the table!

Respectfully, it’s time for President Biden to change his approach to the Israeli government. No more bait and switch by Bibi Netanyahu, who one day says he will seriously negotiate a cease-fire and hostage deal and the next insists that he will invade Rafah. It’s not working. I’m aware that Hamas is likely also negotiating in bad faith, but we aren’t providing them with weapons so have no leverage there. We do with Israel—we must use it. President Biden must resolve that he is done being played for a fool. Unless he drastically changes his strategy, this conflict will never end, thousands more people will die, and the chaos on our campuses will continue. It’s time for the U.S. to cut the Netanyahu government off until Bibi comes to the negotiating table. We can’t keep doing what we’re doing. It’s wrong; it’s wreaking havoc on everyone involved, and it’s not making anyone safer. No more American weapons to Israel until we have a ceasefire agreement and the remaining hostages are freed.
