You must block the Ellison family purchase of Warner Brothers. If this purchase is allowed to proceed, America will effectively have state-run media. A merging of Warner Brothers with the Ellison’s existing media empire would also be a media monopoly for the modern era. Not to mention the sources of funding for this purchase could be a national security issue; money from Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and the Saudis could very well mean they would exercise a concerning level of influence over American media. This is the worst assault on freedom of the press in my lifetime. But Congress can stop it. Please do so now.
