An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Defend Trans Rights Against Coordinated Anti-Rights Campaigns

182 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!

Take a clear public stand against the coordinated campaign to strip trans people of their rights in this country. Amnesty International has documented how anti-trans organizations operate as part of a broader network also targeting women, immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, and people of color. These groups are not acting out of concern — they are working to make trans people's lives harder, and elected officials need to say so plainly. This is not a grassroots movement. It is a manufactured effort by organized groups using political pressure to roll back protections for one of the most vulnerable communities in America. Restricting the rights of trans people does not protect anyone else — it simply causes harm. Please use your platform to publicly defend trans rights and make clear that anti-rights pressure campaigns will not shape your agenda.
