Meanwhile, Republicans in the Senate are manufacturing perjury accusations using texts their own staffers warned were unvetted. Sen. Eric Schmitt used them anyway, got caught, and doubled down on a right-wing podcast. This is the pattern: lead with lies, spread them, get caught, keep lying. The American people are done with it.
