FAA Starlink contract serious conflict of interest

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The recent FAA contract awarded to SpaceX's Starlink system raises serious concerns about conflicts of interest for Elon Musk given his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency recommending funding cuts to federal agencies like the FAA. While the FAA's systems are in dire need of modernization, having a government contractor like SpaceX whose substantial business relies on federal contracts evaluate and award itself lucrative deals creates an unacceptable conflict. There must be clear separation between Musk's private business interests and his public responsibilities to ensure decisions are made objectively for the national interest, not for private enrichment. I urge you to thoroughly review this Starlink contract and take decisive action to eliminate such glaring conflicts before they further undermine public trust in our institutions.
