An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Force DoJ to release the $90m for trafficking survivor programs

15 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

The Department of Justice has nearly $90 million appropriated by Congress to support survivors of human trafficking; however more than 100 organizations report not receiving this funding since October. This leaves thousands of survivors at risk for homelessness, deportation, jail time, and re-exploitation. Congress, not the executive branch, holds power of the purse. Please investigate and do what you must to force this administration and DoJ to abide by the law and disperse this funding as legislators intended.
