Easter Without Mercy. Crucifying the Innocent. Let the Criminal Walk Free.

While you celebrate Easter with smiles and egg rolls on the White House lawn, ask yourselves this: Have we, the American government, chosen BARABBAS. AGAIN? Let me remind you of the choice the crowd made in Jerusalem: “Whom do you want me to release to you? Barabbas—or Jesus who is called Christ?” —Matthew 27:17 They chose Barabbas. Not because he was innocent, but because he was useful. Because he was brutal. Because truth—real truth—threatens power. And now, Congress, you are making that same choice. Again. You let DONALD TRUMP walk free. A man who LIES without shame, who MOCKS the law, who INCITES hate. A man who hugs the Bible for photo ops while gutting its message with every word. You allowed him to turn Scripture into a prop and cruelty into a campaign strategy. And many of you applauded. Then came the deportations—sweeping, unmerciful, unlawful. Among those you exiled was KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA— A legal U.S. resident. A husband. A father. A man under court protection. You ignored the judge’s order. You threw him into a foreign prison. You watched it happen, and did nothing. He now languishes in one of the world’s most brutal prisons, with NO trial, NO sentence, NO hope. And he is not alone. Nearly 300 men were deported with him— 75% had no criminal record in the U.S. or abroad. Their only crime: not being born on American soil. You didn’t deport them. You sacrificed them. You offered up the innocent on the altar of political fear, to feed a movement obsessed with purity, punishment, and power. “They shouted all the louder, ‘CRUCIFY HIM!’” —Mark 15:14 Yes—some of you cheered. More of you stayed silent. But silence is complicity. This is not STRENGTH. This is not JUSTICE. This is SIN. “Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me.” —Matthew 25:40 So now I ask: What did you STAND for? Who did you SAVE? And what will you SAY when the history books are written— when your children ask where you were when the innocent were crucified? Because KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA is NOT FORGOTTEN. His BLOOD is on the hands of those who bowed to FEAR, FLATTERY, and POLITICAL THEATER. This will be remembered— In COURTROOMS. In HISTORY BOOKS. And in the eyes of future generations. Let the new chant rise: RELEASE THE INNOCENT. BRING KILMAR AND THE OTHERS HOME. Because if you can justify THIS— what won’t you justify next?
