28-Point Plan Was Written by Putin and Is Trash

Russian speakers in the community have informed that several parts of the 28-point peace plan for Ukraine, drawn up without input from Ukraine, were originally written in Russian before being translated word for word into English. This is an insult to red-blooded Americans, we who remember well how authoritarian the Soviet Union was and see now how much the current government continues to reflect that history. We Americans can see for ourselves how Ukraine is holding onto democratic and sovereign ideals. We are perfectly capable of reading the Associated Press, Reuters, and other news services to learn how Ukraine is targeting military sites in Russia whilst Russia continues to attack civilians and civilian infrastructure, refuses to return the Ukrainian children whom they kidnapped to their homeland and families, and commits other war crimes. The entire 28-point plan is quite obviously a dictat by Putin that runs afoul with our national morals and aspirations. I strongly oppose the 28-point peace plan that Russia is trying to impose on Ukraine.
