Israel Bombed Peace Envoys in Qatar—Stop Arming Israel Now

The Israeli bombing of Qatar—an internationally recognized peace mediator and host of Gaza ceasefire negotiations—was a brazen act of state terrorism. Fifteen Israeli aircraft violated Qatari airspace, firing missiles into a civilian neighborhood, killing and wounding dozens. Israeli officials admitted the strike aimed to assassinate Gaza’s peace negotiators—summoned there at the request of Israel and the United States.
To strike just days after President Trump’s “final warning” ceasefire ultimatum, and with Israeli officials boasting that Trump knew and approved in advance, leaves no doubt: the United States is complicit. America has been indelibly stained with the blood of peace envoys. This is a grotesque violation of centuries-old principles of diplomatic immunity and civilized conduct.
This is not an isolated atrocity. Israel has attacked peace processes before—in Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and now Qatar—every time negotiations threatened resolution. The pattern is clear: Israel does not seek peace, it seeks to destroy peace itself. At the same time, it escalates its genocide in Gaza—slaughtering civilians, starving children, destroying hospitals, and razing neighborhoods.
The world sees the truth: Israel seeks perpetual war, domination, and expansion. And America—through weapons, funding, and political cover—has been made its enabler. By allowing Israel to bomb Qatar, the United States has undermined its own credibility and vital interests. Qatar has mediated agreements from Afghanistan to Africa. Israel’s strike was not only a crime against humanity but a direct insult to American diplomacy.
Congress must act now:
1. Condemn unequivocally Israel’s attack on Qatar.
2. Halt all U.S. military aid and weapons transfers to Israel.
3. Demand an end to Israel’s genocide in Gaza and its occupation of Palestinians.
4. Make clear that U.S. policy will serve American—not Israeli—interests.
Every day that Congress funds and shields Israel, our nation is dragged deeper into catastrophe. The Israeli killing machine must be stopped. The United States can end this overnight if it finds the will to put America first.
History will judge not by words of “concern,” but by whether you acted to stop genocide, war crimes, and reckless aggression against allies and peace itself.
