Want an easy win? Reign in data centers at the state level. We all know they are coming, but let's regulate them and get people to be less upset. How? Control how they effect the environment. Require closed loop or zero water use for cooling. Require noise compliance. Make their power renewable reliant for 50% or more. Make them have to pay for power and road infrastructure updates for the area they are in. Really this is an EASY win for regulators and law makers.
