An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Enforce Court Orders, Uphold Rule of Law

28 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

The detention of Dr. Rasha Alawieh, a Lebanese citizen with an H-1B visa, at a Boston airport last week violated a clear court order. This incident is part of a concerning pattern of disregard for due process by federal agencies, undermining public confidence in our government. Strict compliance with established procedures must be enforced to uphold the rule of law and prevent further violations that betray America's fundamental principles of justice and equal treatment under the law. It was already violated enough when a convicted felon who encouraged and comforted insurrectionists was allowed to become president and serve no time for his convictions.
