Veto harmful provisions in the Ohio budget

I don’t even know where to begin addressing all of the problems with the budget bill that is on your desk. The budget passed by the Ohio house and Senate will devastate the lives of millions of Ohioans. Please veto the following provisions: Tax cuts for the wealthiest Ohioans; Narrowing Medicaid eligibility; Dramatically reducing public oversight of elected officials by exempting most legislator snd staff communications from public records laws; Making all local school board elections partisan; Restricting access to criminal justice public records; Limiting carryover of school district operating budgets. I beg you to veto these provisions now and take time to look more deeply into the long-term effects of these laws. The legislators who created this bill and voted to pass it do not have Ohio’s best interest at heart. Please take action and protect the things that make Ohio great.
