You’ve justified so much with Donald Trump, never once speaking out against him, even though every one of the people you represent knows you have abdicated your responsibilities to do so. How are you going to justify to your constituents his horrifying actions in Venezuela? We all know Maduro was a bad actor, but there is no justification for how this was handled. Why were you silent when he pardoned the President of Honduras? Why were you silent about his embrace of the dictator in El Salvador? Where is your own moral center, Senator? Your fellow Texans are begging you for answers, for leadership, for integrity. Will we ever find it? Do you really imagine that your legacy can withstand moral silence at this moment? What a total disgrace, Senator. Stand up and do the right thing.
