Oppose H.Res. 1579 to Support Trans Rights

Legislation like H Res 1579 does nothing to improve the lives of everyday Americans. Our communities and country progress when we embrace all people and direct our efforts toward inclusion. Social, economic, and political strength arise from recognizing our shared humanity and building bridges across differences—not from legislating exclusion. Transgender individuals, like all people, deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I urge you to reject this harmful resolution and stand on the side of equality, justice, and unity.
