Demand justice for Israel’s deliberate strike on shelters in Gaza

141 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!

Israel's deliberate bombing of 126 shelters housing displaced Palestinian families in Gaza is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and a blatant war crime. Targeting civilian shelters, which resulted in the killing of at least 851 civilians, most of them women and children, reflects an official Israeli government policy and cannot be tolerated. This systematic targeting of shelters, including those housing civil defense volunteers distributing aid, is a clear challenge to the basic principles of the Geneva Conventions and the Rome Statute. The international community must take immediate action to stop this genocide against Palestinians. A credible investigation into Israel's attacks on civilian shelters and UNRWA facilities must be conducted. Furthermore, tangible steps must be taken to enforce the International Court of Justice's rulings and ensure Israel's compliance with international law, including by imposing a comprehensive arms embargo. The staggering civilian death toll, mass displacement, and acute humanitarian crisis in Gaza demand accountability and justice for these egregious crimes.
