I urge you to pass a California version of this model legislation from the Brennan Center, Model Bill: State Accountability for Federal Interference at Polling Places https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/policy-solutions/model-bill-state-accountability-federal-interference-polling-places This bill mirrors current federal law, so it would not be at-odds with the feds in a sovereignty fight in court. Rather, it reinforces our current Constitutional order in the face of an un-Constitutional executive branch. This should be part of a larger strategy to protect our elections.
