Reject, Vote NO on Josh Divine for Federal Judge in E & W Districts of Missouri

Today I take judicial pen in hand to write and urge you to reject the nomination of Josh Divine as a federal judge for the Eastern & Western Districts of Missouri. He’s dangerous and unfit. His elevation to a lifetime federal judgeship is a flashing red light of warning given his extensive record of promoting extreme and mentally warped ideological views. As a student columnist, Divine advocated banning abortion with no exceptions for rape, opposed LGBTQ+ rights by equating same-sex relationships with bestiality, and defended literacy tests as a prerequisite for voting - a measure historically used to disenfranchise African Americans. He’s argued that Christians are "obligated ethically to impose their beliefs on others" and shown a disturbing lack of respect for democratic norms. Divine's record demonstrates a clear bias against protecting fundamental rights and an inability to adjudicate impartially. He’s essentially a petty tyrant of his own warped beliefs. His inflammatory rhetoric, bizarre mental impairment on matters of equal justice and attacks on basic civil liberties raise grave doubts about his capacity to uphold the Constitution and render fair judgments. A lifetime appointment to the federal bench requires an individual committed to equal justice under the law, not an ideological crusader seeking to undermine core American values. I urge you to scrutinize Divine's record, expose all his bizarre beliefs, and firmly oppose his nomination. The federal judiciary must consist of judges who will safeguard the rights of all Americans fairly and impartially, not push a partisan agenda from the bench. He’s unstable, unfit, lacks the requisite experience and is a dangerous demagogue seeking judicial robes. Vote NO on Josh Divine. Thank you.
