State Response To Upcoming Martial Law Under Trump

The speed at which President Trump, the GOP, and his cabinet have worked to dismantle our constitutional rights and the federal departments built over decades to keep us safe. Vought says “we live in a post-constitution-era”, which is the most unhinged sentence I’ve ever heard uttered by a government appointee. Trump’s transgressions grow more brazen as he tests the legal limits of his power. We have every reason to believe he intends to use protests to his unlawful edicts to declare martial law. Potentially in the next few weeks. We don’t have much time, but we as a state need to know which state authorities will stand up to him when he declares martial law. The courts will no longer have the power to slow him down, and our neighbors will be harmed, killed, or abducted with even less transparency and accountability than Trump’s ICE policies. Please speak with other allied governors, our NC mayors and local representatives, our National guardsmen and women, and have a plan ready for when this inevitably happens. Please help your citizens unite together under the constitution to protect one another.
