Respect Her Wish

Honor Her Wish. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg was an American icon. She fought to advance the rights of women her entire life. She fought against injustice. She fought an unbelievable fight against cancer. I find it reprehensible that within 24 hours of her passing members of the Senate were already pushing for her replacement. Republicans fight and argue for the sanctity of life. But you are only willing to fight for the fetus, fight for the unborn. As soon as that child is born, you want to take away Healthcare, you want to take away social services, you want to take away any help or respect for those that have survived the pregnancy. That's hypocritical and antithetical to the teachings of Jesus. You call yourselves the religious party. You call yourselves the party that cellars life. But you don't. You mock all the teachings of the church. You mock the teachings of Jesus. And you feel yourselves superior to those who are pro choice. Respect the life well lived. Respect the decency of your words. Hold yourselves accountable to your Christian beliefs. If you do, you will not replace RBG. You will honor her by respecting her wishes. She served with dignity, honor, and for the majority of Americans. Remember her with the dignity she deserves.
