An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Stop Rendition to Foreign Prisons

2 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I'm writing to urge you to join Senator Van Hollen and work to rescue Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador. I also ask that you: * speak out against the President's unconstitutional plan to send US citizens, which he calls "homegrown criminals," to a foreign prison, * demand a complete shutdown of all detainees being sent to foreign prisons, and * hold the administration accountable for defying orders by the Supreme Court by supporting impeachment and conviction of Trump and other Cabinet officia ls responsible for this intentional deprivation of Due Process. If the President's administration is able to traffic a man like Abrego Garcia, whom the administration admits was mistakenly sent to a foreign prison, th ey will be emboldened to do the same to others. This appalling disregard for Due Process must be stopped now.
