Oppose Sanders resolutions to block arms for Israel

As your constituent and an AIPAC member, I urge you to oppose Senator Bernie Sanders’ dangerous resolutions to block critical arms sales to Israel. I urge you to NOT cosponsor these resolutions and vote NO if they are brought up for a vote. Israel faces ongoing threats on seven fronts from Iran and its terrorist proxies. At the same time, the Iranian regime continues to fund terrorism around the region and advance its nuclear program. These vital arms sales will help ensure the Jewish state has the resources it needs to defend itself against Iran and the regime’s terrorist proxies. These sales are financed in part by congressionally appropriated security assistance to Israel, and all of the weapons in these sales are made in the United States, supporting American jobs and helping our economy. American support for our democratic ally is essential, and Congress must continue to stand strong with Israel. Any daylight between Israel and American only emboldens our shared enemies and makes it more difficult to secure the release of the Israeli and American citizens held hostage in Gaza. I urge you to oppose Sanders’ effort and vote NO on his dangerous resolutions.
