Students Are Depending On You -Save The Department of Education

I am beyond upset that Trump and Linda McMahan are closing the federal department of education. Congress authorized it, funded it and demanded that it make sure that disabled students or students with special needs receive an education. That includes making sure those students are not discriminated against and have suitable learning plans. We funded them to do that and Trump has said No. Let the states do it. Let the states do it with what funds? Let the states do it, like with reproductive care, like with civil rights, like with the right to vote, like with separate but equal? If you don’t think it is a problem let me point out that the number of students involved is large. It is 15% of the U.S. public school population. I’ve had enough of this lawless behavior and I demand you stand up and address it and push back on those who are so willing to cast off 15% of the students. What kind of cruelty is this? I expect to see a public statement from you right away. This is a key issue for me and if it isn’t for you then I know how to vote.
