URGENT: Upholding the Epstein Files Transparency Act and April 15th Testimony

67 so far! Help us get to 100 signers!

I am writing to you as a constituent to express my profound outrage regarding the Department of Justice’s recent declaration that the "Epstein matter is closed." Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s statement that the DOJ has "released all the files" is a direct violation of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This legislation, which received near-unanimous support, was enacted specifically to prevent the kind of bureaucratic obfuscation we are seeing now. Unilateral closure of this case by the DOJ—while millions of pages remain redacted or withheld—is not just a failure of duty; it is a defiance of Congressional authority. As a representative of my state, you have a unique responsibility to ensure this investigation is not buried. Public records show that prominent figures in our state have been linked to this case, and the continued redaction of names in DOJ releases only fuels public distrust. I am calling on you to: 1. Publicly denounce the DOJ’s attempt to bypass the Transparency Act and demand a full, unredacted accounting of all files, as the law requires. 2. Insist that Pam Bondi’s scheduled testimony on April 15th proceeds. Her removal as Attorney General does not absolve her of the responsibility to answer for the DOJ's handling of these files under her watch. We need her testimony under oath to understand why the department pivoted from promising total transparency to totally stonewalling. 3. Support a Congressional subpoena for the master list of names and co-conspirators that the DOJ continues to shield. The Department of Justice exists to serve the victims and the law, not to act as a cleanup crew for the powerful. I will be watching what actions you take on this matter.
