Climate disasters like the LA fires and Hurricane Helene are already costing billions of dollars. Taxpayers should not be footing the bill. These extreme weather events are devastating communities across the country, and it's working Americans who are paying the price, while the fossil fuel companies who caused the climate crisis continue to rake in billions in profits. Making Polluters Pay is fair, effective, and it won't raise energy prices.
